THE HISTORIC LOBO THEATER
Since 1938, The Lobo Theater has been a landmark on Route 66 in the heart of Albuquerque’s Nob Hill neighborhood. Originally built as a neighborhood movie palace during the golden age of cinema, the Art Deco gem has entertained generations of New Mexicans for nearly nine decades.Today, The Lobo has been reborn as one of Albuquerque’s most unique live entertainment venues and event spaces. The 550-capacity theater hosts an eclectic mix of live music, film screenings, comedy shows, and special events, all while preserving the vintage character that makes this space what it is.
